About our plant
Founded and commissioned in 1943, the facility was one of the first plants in Kazakhstan. In 2000, it was fully re-equipped and modernised together with Krebs-Speichim Company (France).
All production processes are fully automated. The integrated production complex includes a spirit plant and a finished-product bottling plant.
The plant is certified under European and American organic certification programmes. Its spirit-production technology can process various grains, including wheat, rye and barley.
We use only selected wheat.
A closed-loop, waste-free production process — ECO GREEN.
New technologies support both environmental and economic goals.
How do we make our products?

We use high-quality grain grown in Kazakhstan.

Yeast is added to the mixture, followed by mixing and continuous fermentation.

Impurities are removed during distillation using 30-metre columns.

Carbon filtration is carried out using 5-metre columns.

The vodka rests for 30 days in copper vessels and stainless-steel tanks.

TAIGUN — AN INTERNATIONALLY AWARD-WINNING PRODUCT
In 2021, Maximus received another trophy: TAIGUN organic vodka won gold at the London Spirits Competition.
TAIGUN ranked highly across all three assessment criteria, competing against 1,000 products from international producers.
In 2020, it was named the best entry in the Vodka category at the Europe Wine and Spirits TROPHY.
This is an internationally recognised event.

All our products are made with high-quality Alpha spirit using a demethanolisation column and a 30-metre rectification column. The company describes Alpha as a premium-grade spirit.
